July Inspiration by Judy

Hello!
It's Judy here to share little inspiration with you.

I created an inspirational decor piece using

I started by gathering some materials:
the printed image
an inexpensive MDF frame from Michaels
some coordinating papers from DCWV's the Music Stack

I colored the image to match the papers and fussy cut.
I painted the backside of the frame and the edges of the front
with an acrylic paint. Next, I used the frame as a template
for cutting the DP I wanted to use on the front of the frame.
Then I cut out a section of the coordinating paper and printed
a verse I found that suited the image directly on the paper.

The piece of Dp cut for the front of the frame was decoupaged.
Next I embellished the frame with a doily and
some layered floral stickers and a bow and popped the image with foam tape
on the right side of the frame.
I placed the piece of DP with the verse where a photo
would normally go. And the piece is finished!

July Inspiration - Daisy Mae

Hi There,
It's Sherry here today to share a little inspiration.
I chose the adorable image by Cute As A Button called Daisy Mae.
This image brings back wonderful memories of my children playing outside on their tire swing. Oh what fun it is to swing on a tire...

Monica - Pickles and Ice Cream

Don't you find this a fun image?/ I certainly do and that is why I am so excited to share this with you as my inspiration post for Cute As A Button today. When I was pregnant I was so sick I craved lager (hate it in non pregnant state!) as it was cold sour and fizzy. Of course I did not drink it, but ohhhhhhhhhhhh I longed for it! This image is the fabulous Monica - Pickles and Ice Cream

Victorias July Inspiration card using You Fishers Of Men

Hi. It's Victoria stopping by today. I'm here to share my inspiration post for this month using this lovely Cute As A Button image called You Fishers Of Men. This image is actually a wonderful set of two images, a sentiment and a few props. However for this particular project I chose to just use the man boy image. You can find more wonderful images at the Cute As A Button Store.

I've coloured her with Touch Five Markers and Pencils. I have coloured the background with blue water colour pencil. I made a frame for the image which I wove string all the way around it and added to foam tape.

We'd love it if you could stop by and see the current challenges going on at the Cute As A Button Challenge Blog and a Progressive Challenge on the Cute As A Button Facebook Group.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Patty - Bat Girl!

Good day everyone! I wanted to share my card using the wonderful Bat Girl from Cute As A Button Shop!
I colored her with my Copic pens and added some Spica pen for a bit of sparkle on the bat tail and snaps. A friend had given me the paper for the background. I loved the gold sparkle and thought it would bring out the gold in Bat Girl's
outfit. I kept my card pretty simple as I wanted to have the focus on Bat Girl!

July Inspiration by Granmargaret

Hello, It is my turn to do an inspiration post for Cute as a button

I printed out Cute as a Button digi stamp and sentiment IMG00277 Wait upon the Lord onto white card.  Coloured angel with markers and glitter pen and background with purple acrylic paint.  Painted star stencil with a mixture of moulding paste and white paint.
Added some dots with the white paint.
Added glitter washi tape to bottom.
Layered onto page in journal.
